At Happy Little Sprouts, we love any excuse to celebrate, explore, and take small (but mighty!) steps toward a greener world—especially with little hands helping along the way!


Every month, there are fantastic national and international awareness days that shine a spotlight on important environmental and sustainability topics. These special dates are a great way to spark curiosity, inspire action, and create meaningful learning moments for young children. Use it as a springboard for activities, storytelling, or even tiny eco-friendly challenges that kids will love. Let's dive into this month’s sustainability-themed awareness days and discover how we can make learning about our planet both exciting and impactful!

Clean Up Australia Day  - inspires and mobilises communities to improve and conserve our environment, eliminate litter and end waste.   environmental sustainability
